About SQT®’s spongilla spicule production process video.
Spongilla Spicule is used as a raw material for cosmetics. Do you want to know how it is produced and processed?
Selection and cleaning of spongilla raw material;
Wash the selected spongilla, dry, add acid, stir for 0.5h, stand for 5h-7h, stir again for 0.5h, and stand for 6h-12h at a certain hydrolysis temperature; the hydrolysis temperature is 50℃-90℃.
Precipitate, filter, and collect sponge spicules; the filter mesh is 80-350 meshes, and it is filtered multiple times;
Add an appropriate amount of lye to the collected sponge spicules, mix well and stir at a certain stirring rate for 0.5h-1h, and stand for use; the stirring rate is 50r-60r/min.
Collect the sponge spicules after standing and test their PH value; dry the sponge spicules with qualified PH value at 70℃-75℃;
The prepared dry sponge spicules are immersed in a 10%-30% hydrogen peroxide aqueous solution as a specific gravity filtrate for 1h-2h. Most impurities are separated out;
Use a 10%-30% hydrogen peroxide aqueous solution as a dispersion liquid for the sponge spicule, soak it for 1h-2h to separate the impurities attached to it;
Dry the sponge spicules again, wash with polar cleaning solution acetone, remove the polarity, dry, and sieve to obtain depolarized spicules;
Wash the above-mentioned depolarized sponge spicules with distilled water and dry;
The dried and qualified sponge spicules are sorted, packaged, tested, and stored.
